If you have questions about steroid stress dosing, or your child or young person is unable to take a steroid dose down (or keep it down for an hour), we recommend you contact your GP, neuromuscular centre or care adviser.
If you let them know that you have a child or young person on steroids, and the situation, they will be able to answer your queries or arrange for a clinician to call you back. The clinician will be able to offer advice based on your child or young person’s regime, dose and frequency.
