Duchenne Science on Tour 2
Where we’ll be helping our families to make informed choices around really complex things like gene therapy and exon skipping as well as clinical trials, steroids, genetics and carrier testing.
New content, venues and activities
Run by Neil, our expert science communicator and our Support Officers, you will spend your session learning in a small group of fellow Duchenne families.
The workshops are fun, interactive activities and experiments. This week we’ll be taking delivery of our gene therapy demonstration, the first of several new activities to to help you understand Duchenne science.
We’d like to thank Garfield Weston Foundation, HM Government (in partnership with the National Lottery Community Fund), Pfizer, PTC Therapeutics, Roche and Sarepta Therapeutics for supporting this project.
