Whatever activity you are doing to get daily exercise during isolation, you can turn into a fundraiser. From taking part in the 30 minutes PE with Joe Wicks, to running 10km (please remember the social distancing guidelines), doing your wheelchair physio exercises or riding on a balance bike, join our community fundraising team and get your activity sponsored!
How to make it happen?
- Decide what activity you are going to do, what is your goal, and set your target!
- Set up your JustGiving page so you can ask for sponsorship for the event. We have a team page set up on JustGiving so your fundraising can contribute to the community total!
- Keep track of your achievements and update your JustGiving page and social media.
- Share your fundraising and achievements with friends, family and your local community. You may have a local community Facebook group, or groups which share things to do during the isolation time. Share your fundraiser far and wide.
- Share your story, tell people WHY you are doing this, what is your connection to Duchenne muscular dystrophy? What does our charity mean to you?
- Remember, share your JustGiving page far and wide to get maximum fundraising for your hard work!
- Have fun and share your photos with us on our social media!
