Family Housing Association supporting their staff and Action Duchenne
A cause close to the hearts of many of the staff at FHA, Action Duchenne is a charity aiming to eradicate Duchenne muscular dystrophy, something that FHA employee, Lisa Davies’ son Cameron, has been battling for sixteen years.
Karen Dusgate, Chief Executive of FHA Wales, said: “We are immensely proud of all the team that took part in the challenge. The nature of the task they undertook and the manner in which they completed it really is a true reflection of the values and work ethic of FHA Wales on the whole.”
Lynnette Ellison, Duchenne Parent, Marketing and Fundraising Officer at Action Duchenne, said: “It’s great to see that not only are FHA supporting Lisa and her family they are also supporting Action Duchenne by helping to fund research, finding suitable treatments and hopefully one day finding a cure for the condition.”
