Get festive for Action Duchenne

We want to help you make some truly magical moments this festive season. We have partnered with Run For Charity to bring you our Action Duchenne Virtual Santa Dash!

The are no rules!

With our Santa Dash, everything and anything goes! You can do a timed 5km run or walk, or could go for a festive stroll or bike ride around your local park or woods, bang on some Christmas tunes and dance until your heart is full, head out for a jog or run or play Santa Race games on your phone, tablet or PC.

How to take part

*Registration is just £15 and and there is no minimum fundraising pledge.

* Tag us in a photo of you in your best festive attire @ActionDuchenne #bestdresseddashers

All sign ups will get

*A Virtual Santa Dash medal. These beautiful medals are provided by our partner Run for Charity (please note that if you want to sign up as a family only one medal will be sent out)

*A certificate for each person taking part and a care package

*Automatic entry into our ‘Best Dressed Dashers’ competition

Winners Prizes

*The winning Dashers will receive a ‘Ridiculously Organised Family Plans 2022’ wall calendar © Bright Soul Ltd – full of wonderful ideas for treasured family moments so that you can plan for an amazing 2022!

*Our 2nd and 3rd place runners up will receive a beautiful handmade, personalised Christmas decoration from a bespoke gift shop run by two Duchenne Aunt’s Hattie and Pip. (please note the image given is an example, style may differ)

Our work to date has seen over £10m invested in ground-breaking research, educational programmes and campaigns. Our mission has always been to support Duchenne families at all stages of their journey, we are evermore focussed on providing bespoke, unique support to families across the UK.

Each year the team is personally supporting over 1,000 families, all of which have benefitted from our expertise, understanding, practical help and empathy. These families gain hope, knowledge and power to help them navigate their Duchenne journey.
